Whether it is a Classical Guitarist or Saxophonist/Clarinettist for a Wedding, Cocktail Party, or similar event; bass guitarist for pit orchestra in a stage show, or simply lessons on many styles of guitar, as well as saxophone, clarinet, flute and even basic brass; Ian can cater for most tastes.
As a performer, Ian is a member of the Musicians Union and therefore has full indemnity insurance cover. All of his electrical equipment is PAT Tested on a yearly basis to enable performances at various venues, and his ability to be a multi instrumentalist means that you are not confined to one style of music for your special occasion.
Based in Richmond, North Yorkshire, Ian spends his working week as a Sessional Music Teacher for North Yorkshire County Music Service and as such is fully Enhanced CRB Checked. His early evenings are occupied as a private teacher, working from his own purpose built Music Room. He then often spends many an hour arranging music for different ensembles as well as for Reeth Brass Band (of which he is the Musical Director).
